Titanic Locations Walk in Godalming 2021

In April 1912 the Titanic sank to the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean with the loss of more than 1500 souls. This walk around Godalming recounted the tale of one of those who died, John George ‘Jack’ Phillips, the senior wireless telegraphist aboard the RMS Titanic, from his early years in Godalming to his final hours aboard the ship. We visited several Titanic memorials, find out where Jack lived and where he first learnt to use Morse code.
