We found the exhibition very moving: it managed to collate collective and individual stories of people who participated in the Great War and WW2 from around the globe and here in Dorking and surrounding villages – fascinating – set amongst the horrifying statistic that every year in the twentieth century there was a war.

Most interesting & informative. The scouts selling poppies outside Waitrose weren’t aware it was on, though. I spent about twenty enjoyable minutes reading my way through.

Thank you for putting on such a good rememberance exhibition. It was very thought provoking to remember that so many other nationalities gave their lives as well as our own and from Dorking and the surrounding area. It is most appreciated that you have spent the time and effort in researching and putting this together.

Are there any plans to to keep the Rememberance Exhibition available on line?
Unfortunatly I was unable to pay it a visit at the War Memorial.
